Global Chief Sustainability Officer at JLL

JLL wants to be a world-leading, sustainable professional services firm by creating spaces, buildings and cities where everyone can thrive and as Global Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer my goal is to make this a reality across the fields of ethics, sustainability and corporate responsibility.

In my 35 years in Property I’ve gained wide ranging experience and have held a variety of leadership positions. Early on in my career I advised investors on sales, acquisition and funding structures for commercial property. Prior to joining JLL, I worked at King Sturge where I was Joint Senior Partner until 2011 when we led the firm into a merger with JLL. After the merger I served as Executive Chairman of JLL’s UK business and subsequently became a member of the EMEA Management Board with responsibility for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa together with the industrial and sustainability market sectors.

Throughout my time in the industry I’ve grown to understand the impact that real estate can have on our well being and on our planet. I’m fortunate now to be able to make a tangible difference in my day job.
